Shortly before the 7th Roundtable Conference on Sustainable Palm Oil (RSPO RT7), WWF released the Palm Oil Buyers’ Scorecard, which scores the performance of 59 of the most prominent retailers and manufacturers in Europe that buy and use palm oil in their products.
Retailers reflect on the Scorecard experience
WWF asked representatives from four retailers that were assessed in the Palm Oil Buyer’s Scorecard about their experiences. Fiona Wheatley from Sainsbury’s, John Clague of Waitrose, Paul Rowsome of Carrefour and Hugo Byrne of Ahold offer their views.
