Reasons to participate
Currently, we are looking at conservation financing options. We have considered carbon funding as one option. Others include watershed protection for hydroelectric power dams, certification of wild coffee and other non-tiber forest products and the like. Participation on such discussions and relevant trainings will strengthen our capacity and help us to learn from the experiences of others.

Objectives of the platform
The online platform Natureandpoverty.net is set up to increase understanding and effective action on the linkage between nature and poverty, and to enhance the effectiveness, efficiency, impact and the sustainability of field projects and interventions you and your organisation are involved in, and thereby of the participating organisations themselves.
