Scavengers in our city dump is one of the least privilege sectors of society. They survive only on the recyclables gathered in our landfill. Enhancing composting in the area can help augment income while encouraging partnership for development in reforestation.
From the compost product of the scavengers, we have created one tree plant nursery in one school.
Philippines as a 3rd world country is located in the tropics. One way we can be part of global climate change solution is through reforestation. We receive much rainfall & what we plant grows.
