Create or edit your profile

When creating or editing your profile, make sure that you fill in the fields marked with an asteriks. These are mandatory.

A few hints and suggestions on some of the fields:

Email: You will use your email address to log in on the platform. It is also used to send you a confirmation of your registration, and to send you notifications (for instance, when you have selected to receive notifications in forum topics). Your email will also be made available to other registered users who are logged in on the platform.

Password: Your password has to be at least 5 characters. Please don't use special characters or spaces. The characters you enter are case-sensitive.
You can change your password at any time when logged in by clicking Edit your profile in the green login box in the upper right corner of the page.

Preferred language: The platform interface is available in 3 languages: French, Spanish and English. You can choose your preferred language here.

Profile photo: You can click the browse button to upload a photo of yourself from your local disk, to add to your profile. The file size should not exceed 500KB, and best should be in JPEG format. Adding a photo to your profiles will help add a personal touch to your contributions.

Short description of your work: Please describe information of your work relevant to the subject of this platform in a few lines. This will help others connect with you.

Personal work areas in keywords: Please enter keywords which are related to your work area, separated by commas, like this: palm-oil, waterlands, mining, Africa. The keywords will be used in the future to help you find relevant people, organisations, and other information.

Ecosystems: tick the boxes for all the ecosystems you are working in. If you are not working in one of the offered ecosystems, you can leave them all unchecked. Again, this information will be used to connect you with the people and information most relevant to your work.
